What we are learning?
Dear Parents,
We hope you all have a great week. This week we will continue with our theme “Choo Choo Train.” Children will continue exploring and discovering interesting facts about travel and transport through playing and observation.
We will also continue working on motor and sensorial activities related to this topic so children can continue learning through fun experiences while keeping strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. Below you can find a summary of all activities during the week:

·         Sing the song of the week.

·         Classify means of transportation by red color.

·         Imitate face gestures while looking at the mirror.

Student of the Week


Please make sure to sign up your child for this beautiful activity that runs from August through January of the school year!
As you know, every week, a child is given a set week that he/she is the student of the week. On Monday of their week, the student of the week should bring a poster and a book created with family pictures, favorite books, sports, hobbies, animals and other interests. Parents will pick a day to present a banner to the classroom. The student of the week may also bring favorite toys and books to school so they can share with classmates.

Friendly Reminders

·         Wash your hands and your child's hands when entering your child's classroom.

·         Always store pacifiers in their packages.

·         Make sure that your child has always TWO extra sets of clothing in his/her cubby.

·         Bring appropriate clothing based on weather and label them with your child's name before placing them in his/her cubby.

·         Remove clothing from the cubby and leave one set of clothing and a blanket for nap time.

·        Take the blanket home on Fridays for laundry and bring it back on Monday.

·       Fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when to use rash ointment or other product.

o    Supply ointments for your child.

o    Label ointments with your child's name and store them in a fabric tote bag.

·         Bring diapers and wipes when needed. Do not forget to label them with your child's name.

·         Morning snack time is at 8:45 am till 9:10 am every day.

·         Label bottles and food that you bring to preschool.

o    Write your child's name and date.

o    Place the lunch box in the designated location and keep ice packs inside the lunch box.

·         Inform the teacher if there has been a change in your child's feeding schedule.

·      Do not bring your child to school if the child has a fever of over 101F or any contagious conditions.

What we are learning?
Dear Parents,
We hope you all have a great week. This week we will continue learning about the topic called “Choo Choo Train.” Children had so much fun last week while playing with cars, trains and trucks, that we will continue exploring and discovering interesting facts about ground transport through playing and observation.
Through practical actions, we keep enlightening kids about how we commute from one place to another. We will also continue working on the motor and sensorial activities related to this topic so children can continue learning through fun experiences while keeping strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. Below you can find a summary of all activities during the week:

·         Play with cars, airplanes, and ships.

·         Listen to songs related to the theme while looking at flashcards of several types of means of transportation.  

·         Dance using scarves of different colors.

·         Paint plastic bottles with different colors.

·         Engage in jumping into circles drawn on the floor.

·         Listen to onomatopoeic sounds of different means of transportation and try to imitate them

Dear Parents,
We hope you are having a good week. We want to wish you a Happy Holiday season and express our gratitude for all the support we have received from you during this year.
The next two weeks will be shorter weeks due to Christmas and New Year’s breaks. This week we will go over some fantastic topics that children enjoyed learning in the past weeks. We will continue learning about holiday celebrations and start getting ready for the celebration of the New Year.
Through practical actions, we keep enlightening kids about the significance of holidays, celebrations and the winter. We have scheduled exciting activities related to this theme so children can continue learning through fun experiences. Each one of these activities will help to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills.
We would like to express our gratitude to Campos Family for the donation of books to the Book Fair.

Through practical actions, we keep enlightening kids about the significance of holidays. We have scheduled exciting activities related to this theme so children can continue learning through fun experiences. Each one of them will help to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. Below you can find a summary of all activities during the week:
