Blog Title: My Family

Week: October 14th, 2019 to October 18th, 2019

What are we learning?

Dear Parents,
We hope you are having a wonderful week. This week we are going to learn about a new topic “My family.” Through songs, games and other activities children will learn everything related to this topic. Children will understand the significance of family and the role in modern society.
We have scheduled exciting activities related to this theme so children can continue learning through fun experiences. Each one of them will help to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. Below you can find a summary of all activities during the week:

  • Observe flashcards regarding the family theme.
  • Identify mom and dad in our family home toy.
  • Feel different textures.

Thank you for letting us play such an essential role in your child’s life and we hope you have a great weekend.

Star Words of the Week

  • The mother – La mama

Song of the Week – Tengo una familia

Tengo una familia y es fenomenal
Mi papa me ama mi mama igual
Con mis hermanitos yo puedo jugar
Y mis abuelitos bailan sin cesar (x2)
Con este chachacha
La familia aprenderás
Respeto a papa amo mi mama

Mi abuelo y mi abuela felices están
Esta es mi familia, es mi dulce hogar.
Chachachacha amo a mi mama
Chachachacha amo a mi papa (x2)

Poems

Yo amo a mi familia
Y mi familia me ama
A mi.
